I’ve been keeping this bar in the pantry for when I need a serious chocolate hit, and the roasted almonds give it just enough crunch to balance that intense, fruity cacao bite. It’s barely sweet, which I love, but it definitely takes a few squares to get used to the 95% bitterness.
The first bite was a shock — so intense and barely sweet, exactly as promised — but the fruity cacao notes really do come through once you let it melt. The roasted almonds add a perfect crunch that breaks up the deep, dark richness. I’ve already ordered a second bar.
