I was skeptical about 80% dark being too bitter, but this bar has that roasted almond flavor coming through so clearly it balances everything out. The stone ground texture is noticeably grittier and more rustic than mass-produced chocolate, which I've come to love.
The salt’s crunch against that deep 80% cocoa hits exactly the sweet-savory spot I was hoping for, and the roasted almonds add a nice bite. It melts slowly enough that one square actually feels like a treat, which is rare for me.
