The texture from those granite millstones really comes through—slightly grainy in a good way, not waxy like most bars. I keep a square in my bag for the afternoon slump and the bitterness snaps me right out of it.
The sweet and bitter balance is just right for someone who wants a serious dark chocolate fix without the puckering face. I can taste the cacao itself, not sugar or vanilla covering it up, which is exactly what I hoped for.
The texture from those granite millstones is something else—almost silky with a tiny bit of grit that makes you slow down and savor each square. That 70% split feels just right, not too harsh but definitely not messing around.
