The puffed quinoa is what makes this bar — it's genuinely crunchy in every bite, not just a few scattered pieces. And 70% dark is the right call here since it keeps the orange from getting too sweet.
The orange hits right after the chocolate melts, and the quinoa keeps it from being one of those boring flat bars. I ate half in one sitting without even realizing it, the texture is that good.
The crunch from the puffed quinoa is genuinely loud—like tiny crispy bursts in every bite—and it holds up perfectly against the smooth 70% dark base. The orange comes through bright and zesty upfront, then mellows into the cocoa, which makes it dangerously easy to finish the whole 2.5 oz bar in one
