The vanilla bean comes through so clearly against the dark chocolate's deep, earthy bite—it's genuinely fragrant, not just a hint. I do wish the two discs were a bit thicker for the price, but the stone-ground texture makes it feel special, and it's easy to break off a piece for a straight-up snack.

These stone-ground discs have that gritty, rustic texture you don't get from mass-market chocolate, and the vanilla bean really comes through fragrant and warm. Two discs per pack is perfect for splitting, though I maybe wish the portion was a bit larger since it's gone so fast.
